Nope, I have one but not one that goes to 89 in/lbs, you said you have one right? I might purchase one but I'd still like to check it against something because I'd be getting an inexpensive one.

I have a ft/lb and in/lb one. The in/lb one was like $40 so it wasn't super expensive.

My buddies car is holding together fine, so they do their job. 89in/lb is like finger tight haha.

Ya I figured, its like 7 ft. lbs. haha but ya I was going to get a craftsman one, they are on sale for $50. I could be daring and try the Harbor Freight one for $15, but I'd rather not lose my motor over $35 lol

Accuracy is still +-4% which isnt bad really.

My mechanic has a pretty baller one, haha, they get stupid expensive!

I just got a 3/8" one from HF because it was super sale time, turns out Snap-On's standard accuracy is +-4% as well

If it lasts 6 months I'll be happy haha

Ya but the question is how long will it keep the accuracy. Could be 1 bolt or 1 year haha and my buddy and his dad own a garage and have one of the Snap-On ones that is +- 2% with the digital readout, he spent $600 on it I think.

I know some people that have had them and they lasted quite some time

I'll prob get a set of snap-on 1/2 and 3/8" ones come spring time for my cam install. I like the click type ones and it seems like the snap-on industrial ones are around $150 each

That's not bad, and the HF ones are Pittsburgh Professional brand, I have heard some good things about them.

Exactly, its not like they'll fall apart after a job or 2!

The one reason I will get the snap-ons is because they have the locking ring vice the screw on the bottom like the ones I have now are. I just hate turning the thing, then having to screw the nut in and hope it doesn't move around on you.

Ya, I am going to start the cams today, finish them tomorrow or monday, but hopefully tomorrow. Hope my garden hose will work fine for a timing chain wedge lol.
