I visited ProTree today. It's a small shop but it looked busy. There were a couple of cool builds like an Eliminator-powered Marauder and a Fox body with a Coyote/4R70W combo (I think, I was kinda tired when he talked about it. Def. an AOD variant.) and all wiring and plumbing tucked into the fenders or frame rails. That last one is a $$$$$ build and is slated to get a magazine feature once it comes further along. Dana also said it was the first Coyote/4R70W combo in the US

Anyways, everything on the Watt's link has been locked down and Loctite'd. It still makes noise over small low-speed bumps but we think it's the rod ends and not anything loose knocking around. Once I get my camber plates/springs/Konis installed I will bring it back and have the Watt's link aligned along with the rest of the suspension.

One other thing they noticed was the breather tube spat up a lot of diff fluid. They thought at frst the clamp busted the left axle tube out of the diff housing but I told them it was like that when I first installed it. Turns out, this is a known issue with the 2013s. Looks like I'll need a turkey baster:

I'm going to drive the Mohawk Trail in western Mass next weekend. If anyone is interested let me know!

Yes, it is, but it's a fantastic drive through some great scenic areas, with some fine twisty roads. That road has some memories for me with the 'stang. By coincidence, the odometer rolled to 25K miles just as I was drifting the car (intentionally) around the famed hairpin turn on the Mohawk in an unexpected early Nov snow squall several years back.

The more I think about it, I think I'd be in for going next weekend if the weather is halfway cooperative...

Or get the current SVT finned rear cover. It moves the breather to the top of the diff housing, and the axle tube location gets plugged.
