yes he has dropped key passes, but there goes 100+ catches during the regular season...this guy they chose over him hasn't even played a full season these past 2 years...the personel decision was terrible...and they have still yet to do anything on defense except for look at the kid from LSU that hasn't played in a year...i really hope they have something up their sleeves because honestly that pay cut isn't being justified

You dont think somebody else is now going to get those 100+ catches?

And the guy coming over from the rams, well its the rams. Sam Bradford isn't going to show you the talent of his receivers, because he can't get them the ball.

people will get catches, but because it's not "welker" the numbers won't be the same...and because the "threat" of him not being there, defenses can focus more attention on gronk and hernandez, granted they will still make catches because they are strong bodies...welker just brings that extra...not saying that this new guy can't play, but 2 seasons and you've only played 12 games...it just doesn't sit well with me...if this guy has an amazing season i'll tip my hat and apologize...

but we have adrian wilson, dwight freeney, and john abraham all visiting today which would do MAJOR things for our defense and Talib most likely coming back (hopefully) which would be a big help...the pats are finally making moves and good ones...i am now amped up again for the season

I think he will do well, even with the previous injuries.

Now, dwight freeney, would be cool, but lets not talk long term contracts here, the guy is 33 and has 11 seasons under his belt. I'd sign him for 3 years max.

We'll see. Free agency makes everything so interesting.

adrian wilson from arizona signed, so there goes the hopes with reed...reports are saying theres a good chance they'll get abraham and freeney, or at least one and all reports say we are keeping talib...i'd say that'd be a win with all three or just two of them

I'll be happy if we keep Talib, sign Abraham, and b. Lloyd agrees to restructure his contract and stays with the pats. Perfect scenario for me. I have accepted the fact that we prolly wont end up getting reed now. Oh, and I also hope we sign sanders. Yes, I want it all.

Ps. I will be drafting Amendola for my 2013 fantasy team. For obvious reasons...

every report has basically said talib will stay with us, due to his off the field things, other teams won't take the risk...but Bill and the fact we're a winning franchise should keep him straight, and also puts us in the driver seat to structure his contract in a great way for both of them...lloyd has already said that he will take a pay cut to stay which is key, because he is one of, if not the only reciever that will dive for a ball that is 7 yards over thrown...there's a chance they could possibly sign abraham and freeney, which would be even better because jones and ninkovich would have fresh legs all the time, ninkovich could even sub out for a LB at times...it would just be perfect rotation and depth in case somebody went down for a while...it's obvious our offense is set, now it's time to do great things on defense

oh yeah, and how do you think the first conversation will go between wifork and the new bills reciever we just signed will go...haha

Any new news about Denard yet? I liked the way the secondary looked with Talib and him as corners
