Thanks for all the help over the past couple of days, I guess I'm just worried about putting a lot of miles on my car.

It's my first fairly new car and I want to treat it right to make it last, I got it 4 months ago and have only put 1800 miles on it. (Loving every mile though )

This is the car as of monday (6 days ago) just finished the stripes

Sorry if the image didn't work. I'm a noob when it comes to posting pictures.

I say go for it. I supercharged my 06 @ 50k last year, at 71k now and still going strong. These motors last if taken care of.

If its the Shelby idea, which is 2 years old at this point, its no secret haha.

JLT combo = $600 and took 6 months

GT500, we'll say is $40k, I'm sure we'll talk in 400 months, or 33 years.

Just found a brand new rear end complete 8.8 with 3.73 gears Ford Racing brand. for $1,150 anyone know if that is a good price it all? And sorry I'm still a noob. Does traction-lock pretty much mean both wheels are always spinning with the car or might it still do one-wheel-peels? haha

shelby? don't you mean the 5.0??? i don't remember mentioning a shelby...maybe i'm just getting old and forgetful...you're just further proving my saying "things always change and happen" lol...which is why i'm not spending moeny on this car unless it's needed...and why i'm also saying if everything that i have setup comes into play, which it's looking like it will, but only time will tell...it really took me 6 months to get my CAI???? damn lol...thanks for keepin sharp tabs on me haha

Of course this was all the way back in Nov of 2012, and that's like six whole months ago

Not stalking here, but over on SVTP you have like 4 threads created in the shelby section about trading for one soon. All like 2 months after another, lol.

5.0 is a solid choice. You can make the same power as a 3v with low/med boost with just basic boltons. My blower will wait till next spring most likely, as the thing my fiancee and I enjoy doing together is shooting, so I just picked up something to do that with .

I also can't justify spending the 2k for the manifold and another 2-300 in the extra parts I need all at once, I just would feel selfish.

And yes, it took you 6 months. It was painful
