Mass Chit-Chat
Glad they figured it out, I know how frustrating things like this can be
When I had my Lightning, I was the first one to get into the 10's without nitrous, needless to say I was the guinee pig for a few different part, and figuring out the tuning for some of those mods.
Seems my Mustang likes fighting me, My DSS Aluminum driveshafrt was to short, had to have another one made, then last night I intalled my Steeda G-Trac brace, at first all felt good, then this morning getting off a exit in Reading as I came to a stop I hear a bang, then from then on getting a metal to metal clunling sound. Lucky I was close to the place in wakefied I go to sometimes. They got my car right up on the lift, after a second or two noticed my transmision is hitting the new brace.
Two washers on each side of the brace gave it just enough room, so all fixed now
Though I am a little surprised a Steeda product didn't fit right

Close call, Opening up my baby on the on-ramp and a classic 60's car chase seamed eminent the eternal Mustang Charger chase. Just make sure it's not a cop car before. I entered the freeway casually fast and the "White Charger" (first warning sigh) passes me on the right, I'm not even going to get on the freeway, on-ramp to on-ramp, on and off. I do kinda pass the Charger (passing on the right - ticket) yes, but he must have been a out of his jurisdiction. Unmarked? The only marking was a hand-light on the left side-mirror which I couldn't see until I passed. A passenger poked his head out and looked me over, must have been a narc who recognized a nicer car when he passed or got passed by one (chin strap) ear ring, cap, 21 Jump St look. We just cruised our separate ways. I'll save the speed contest for the track. They have some nice rodded Mustang plain wrappers out there. One passed me in Utah at 150+ and shook me hard, and I'm in an 80,000 lbs Semi doing 60 an Audi goes by at 90 then 5 sec later
and blur---. Later

Passing on the right is legal in NH. I believe it is in MA as well. According to my friend who is a LEO in NH, the illegal part comes in if any wheel leaves pavement. I remember even looking this up for an argument at work regarding passing on the highway.
But yeah, I don't street race. Watching street races, however, is lots of fun

Well, I had a "fun" time yesterday afternoon. Was able to sneak out for a cruise in the warm weather, and just as I'm pulling onto Rt 128, the car start skipping, and power is way down. Pull over the first safe place I can find to discover a plug wire had popped off the #1 spark plug.
Second time this has happened in the past month or so, and both times on the same plug. Thinking I have a failed seal on the spark plug. I've heard of cases where the seal between the center electrode and the porcelain goes bad and allows compression gases to slip by, hence pressurizing the plug boot. If it's a tight fitting boot, after a while...*pop*
Of course, since the engine was good and hot, I managed to singe my hands multiple places getting the wire back in place to get it home.
