In my local neighborhood, leaf debris everywhere, and a few small tree limbs down, but not exactly the apocalypse.

yeah, NY and NJ got the worst of it...VA got snow...the winds were really bad at my job, no customers here, door kept flying open and i still had to stay here, the only part that really pissed me off about staying was that they were shutting down a bunch of roads that i take to go home, so i had to drive in the crap weather for a hell of alot longer then i would have if they would have let us go early...

Haha. I think he hated the entire shore, just went a bit overboard.
I've seen some of the pictures of the NJ area, man its bad.
However, would you buy a house that is, literally, RIGHT on the water? I mean I have a hard time feeling bad for the people that do that. I mean they make these properties right in the bay's, and people don't see this happening?
Kind of like all the people on Plum Island, there is a reason your house is on stilts and its not a good one.
Just always made me wonder what people were thinking...

Learn to swim.
I had to drive the Mustang into work on Monday. The rain was the worst part, because the roads were slick as hell (esp. back roads with leaves on the ground) and visibility was nil if I got caught in another car's rooster tail. Other than that, it wasn't too bad.
Work has sucked all week though.

what sucked for me on tuesday night when it down poured like crazy for 15 min straight...i still hadn't got around to changing my alternator (finally got that done, and it sucked with the roush underdrive pulleys in) so driving through all of the massive flooded puddles was hell and scary because my voltage gauge kept dropping, almost to L every puddle i went through and when i got out it stayed where it dropped for about 1000 feet and went back to normal...so glad and lucky i didn't get caught in a puddle
