Default Front plate mounting

I just picked up my mustang earlier on friday morning. I was wondering what you guys did for the front plate. I really dont want to drill into the front bumper. Any suggestions? I know the plate has to be visible up front do to state law.

you can get those brackets that attach under your car and you can slide them out for driving and under for car shows

I don't think I've ever heard of anyone being pulled over in MA for a missing front plate (if they aren't the old green-lettered ones), but I'm sure it's happened. If I had a mint car with no holes already drilled in the front bumper, I'd stick the front plate in the trunk. There are already holes drilled into my (aftermarket) cover for a plate bracket so I'm going to mount it just like it was when my car is done. (One less reason to get pulled over)

Yeah thats the only thing that sucks, because I know when I bring it in for inspection theyll probably try and drill into it. I have it in my backseat for now in case a cop pulls me over for it. But I doubt it.

I have a thread on how to build your own from aluminum. I saw one on another site for $50 out of steel painted black and basically just built the exact thing out of aluminum. I only spent $12 heres the link let me know if you have any questions. https://mustangforums.com/forum/memb...g-bracket.html
Oh and no drilling into your car is involved

I just attached mine to the passenger side visor so when needed I just flip it down. It is held on with large binder clips.
