My '91 Camaro build
#33
I think I'm gonna keep the interior pretty stock, I do have a b&m ratchet shifter that I need to install but in no rush to do it. For this car I'm not really doing anything for the sound system, all I have is a cheap pioneer head unit with pioneer speakers. I had an '87 Camaro with a decent sound system, but for some reason third gens don't seem to have good acoustics and it never sounded that great. I sold that system to my friend who had an '89 mustang and it sounded way better in there.
The engine will be cammed this spring with a trans am lt1 cam and some comp cams springs. With the right tuning I could see up to a 40 hp increase. The stock cam is seriously pathetic. Also gonna throw an edelbrock intake. Much later in the future I may do a head swap (lb9 heads, corvette 113s, or world torquer heads). I know most people swap out to 350s (which I will if the 305 needs to be rebuilt), but the 305 suites my needs. I'm really only looking for a 13.5-14 second car.
Subframe connectors are definitely in the future too, just not sure when haha. I'm hoping my control arm brackets fix my wheel hop so I can launch harder. So far my best 60ft is 2.18, it should be close to a 2.00

How have I not seen this thread???? I live down the road from him. I'm even in one of the pictures lmao. Would like to point out that I found those awesome seats lol.
His car is pretty quick now, gave a 2006 GT a run for its money, till the camaro hit its limiter lol.

Including the price of the car I have a little over $2500 into it at this point, but I also have a lot of parts I haven't installed yet. Now that the weather is getting warmer I'm gonna try to get a lot of work done
