Nice car, I like the color. What color racing stripes were you thinking about? And have you considered taking off the side molding on the door?
Thanks. I'm thinking black since that is the color of the top when it's up. And not to sure what the side molding is.

edit : do you mean the line going horizantily thru the middle of the door?
Cool, i was thinking black too, that should look really good. And yeah, that's what I was refering to. The car's looks would flow a lot better without them and, at least on S197s, they are installed onto cars shipped to rental car companies. The rental car companies will then sell these cars with the molding still on, so they become consumer cars that look like rental cars. Most people take them off right away, I hear it's fairly easy to do since it's just two sided tape

No, i've always heard they come off fine without any issues like that. I found directions from a guy who's gone through it:

[hr] The mouldings are taped on and removing then is pretty easy by just gently prying up the end and pulling. There are some fishing line techniques where you use the line to cut the tape like a "cheesegrater" (twist the ends of the line around two dowls, loop the line behind the mounding and saw back and forth as you pull towards the opposite end of the moulding) but it leaves quite a bit of tape behind. If you pull them off, some tape will be left behind. Any local body shop supply house can sell you a little "rubber" wheel that you fit to a drill to take off the remaining tape. Wax and grease remover after you clean off the tape works to remove any leftover glue. Good coat of wax afterwards helps to protect the paint. Good luck!
