The red 99 GT paint is freaking awesome (although I'm partial to it)! It certain lights it looks like a deep red and in others it can appear orange.





I like the car man. Clean and simple. I'm putting the 35th anni badges back on mine as soon as it's back running.

Well I'm selling it because I had to replace the engine after a rod bearing failed.

I went and built some n/a power but its just a money pit and I am not happy enough with the power, Also its not that great of a DD, because of the solid everything in the suspension.

So I'm counting my losses and trying to get what I can.

Honestly if any one is interested in a road race car this is it

EDIT: +1 on the Rio Red being awesome, its just really hard to match.

They dont lol, I love the sarcasm. The decal was on the car when I bought it. I think its coming off though when the car gets detailed this spring. It does make it stand out more. Dont know how it is where you live, but here Mustangs are everywhere, and a sleeper would just put you in the misted of the hundreds of mustangs that are driven by women and have a V6, which isnt really my style. I wasnt hating on his car, also at the time I didnt know it was a sleeper. Sleeper by defination is a car that can blow the doors off of someone unexpectedly. Everyone knows a mustang is a muscle car, sooooo why not make the exterior look the part. It would be like saying I put different color body parts on my Z06, because I didnt want anyone to know the car is fast, I just wanted everyone to look at it and say its junk so they wouldnt know whats coming. If you wanted a sleeper use something like this...this is a Sleeper car, not the OP's mustang.
