Talking My Little Pony

Hello, all!

I just bought my first Mustang last week. Here's some pics of my '08 Vapor Silver Metallic V6. Everything's stock and a little boring compared to other's rides on here...for now. And I already know about the side door moldings--those will be removed shortly.

I only had the car a week and I LOVE it!!! Let me know what you think!

I would put some bullitts on it after the stripe removal and be done for now

Yeah, it would look badass with some decent rims. I'm also thinking of barely-legal window tint to really set off the silver color.

Congrats on your new purchase. That side panel looks bad (I only say that because your getting rid of it) and don't understand how they thought that would look good. Tint and new rims would make your ride look sweet.

You have any plans for any performance mods?

The car was originally a rental, hence the protective moldings. I noticed the same thing on the doors of my friend's pre-owned Chevy Cobalt today.

Instead of Bullitts, maybe some Shelby Razors or GT-type rims would be nice. Appearance mods will come first, performance mods later...I really need to know what I'm doing before I decide on anything performance-wise!

Razors or GT4s wouldn't look bad at all.

My suggestions, Get the GT grill, change the wheels to 18-20" chrome bullitts, remove the door molding things and it will look sick. very nice car looks so clean, congrats on the purchase.

Thanks! I love the GT grille, but isn't it bigger than the stock V6 grille?

Anyway, my choice of vehicle shocked more than a few people. When I told one of my co-workers that I was looking for a Mustang he said, "YOU?!? I assumed you were more of a Honda Civic type of person!"

What exactly IS a Mustang person supposed to look like?

Congrats on the new car, I vote bullits or razors for wheels. Do the tint, Im happy I did. Also, mustang people can all look different so its just personal opinion I guess.
