Totaled the 07, got a 2010 *pics*
I've been a member here for about 3 years but figured I'd start fresh. I totaled my wifes 07 GT. The first thing I'll say is if anybody is curious to the integrity of these cars, THEY'RE SOLID. I walked away from this with not even a scratch.
Anyway, ended up getting her a 2010 fully loaded, 3.73 axle package, backup camera, and the dealer had the console area hydro-dipped in carbon fiber. We just had the windows tinted, the SCT SF3 is on order and the Corsa axle backs are on order.
So far we love it, although the changes are subtle, the car feels 100% different from the 07. Would have loved to get the 5.0 but we didn't want to wait and I'm always skeptical of the first year run of a new engine or complete redesign.

Oh man, they're stellar! For the 3 years we owned the 07 we ONLY took it there, they've taken very good care of us. I got the new one with XPlan, it was completely painless, they really are good folks.

Thanks!! So far its brought some closure to the dead 07. I agree about the silver, we were going to have that dipped to, but the dealer wouldn't do it due to the passenger airbag and liabilities. The aftermarket guy that did the console can do the dash, but we'll have to go to him rather than through the dealer. I'd really like to find a 'black' brushed aluminum, but we'll see.

BTW, the comment I highlighted in bold confuses me... you say you're skeptical of the first year run or a complete redesign, well the 2010 is a complete redesign, yet you bought it.
