Default Decided to go spoilerless (pics)

I found a buyer for my Saleen wing, and since then I picked up a used GT deck lid, dropped it off at my preferred body shop, had them fill the spoiler holes, respray the entire thing inside and out, and then I popped on new '01 OEM badging (my Cobra is a '99). Only effort really involved w/the swap was drilling out the lock assembly on my old trunk and transferring it to the donor trunk. I polished up the third brake light and snapped a few pics this weekend, think it really cleans up the rear end.

Shocks, struts, springs, camber kit are next, but probably not 'til next year.

The pics are pulled from my facebook, the higher res shots are at home, but you get the idea:

Very slick. One day in the future I'd like to spoiler delete.

I'm not sure I like it without a spoiler. I'm all for the sleeper look, just not sure about this car "bare". Reminds me of when you could get a base LX with all of the performance options of the GT.

If the car had an OEM '99 spoiler on it when I bought it last year, I probably would have left things alone, but I wasn't a fan of the Saleen wing that the previous owner had mounted, so that was really the kicker.

As others have said, I think it will look 2x as good once I do suspension and rims.

Nice way to improve performance! Less drag and less weight.

Looks good!

Can't say I like the spoilerless look. Never did, never will.

I love the Cobra wing so I would probably leave it on mine (if i ever get one) but the sleeper look looks great too! And the rims you have are great, why change them?
