Default 2002 3.8 V6

Firstly, I know, I know. It's a baby V6. I wasn't being picky at the time, my grandmother was co-signing the loan. (just to clarify, I pay it. Haha)

This is Jean:

So far I've:

And turned this:

to this:

Haven't done much with it yet. I've just been focused on paying her off as well as my other bills. XD I've changed the water pump, and the power steering pump.

She's been wrecked before, so the bumper is a damn different shade of red, I have some paint oxidation on the hood, and it has a junk yard radiator in it. All before I got it. ALSO I'm not fond of the rims, also came with it. XD

Any suggestions how to improve, badassify, and keep the integrity of the car intact?

Well seeing as how you're from Kentucky, I don't believe rust is an issue is it? I would say just keep up with the preventative maintainance and keep the fluids changed. Other than that, I'd say you are on the right track.

W-w-w-w-w--wait a minute

A loan?
Do you finance this vehicle? If you finance a Mustang V6 3.8 then you must be very young, no offense. I'm not giving you **** about it but I just want to know.

How many miles on this car?
How many years on your contract?
Do you have warranty?
How old are you?

I too financed a Mustang V6 3.8 back when I was younger just to earn up some credit. It was just a 2 year contract and the car was 5 grand with under 50,000 miles at the time and I had warranty

Bought it from a lot. So I pay loan payments to the bank once a month. no set time. just until loan plus intrest is paid in full. about $4900 all together. hadaround 70 thousand when I got her. No warranty, it was used sold as is. and I'll be 25 in September, so yes, Im kind of youg.

And rust can be a problem. They salt the roads a lot here in the winter time, not to mention all the rain. so yeah, I try to keep her hosed down and dry. Wish I could garage keep her.

Also, didn't do the tinting. Came with it. I've cleaned the headlight assemblies, changed the water and power steering pumps, cleaned the EGR valve, kept the fluids changed regularly, installed subs, (omg the modding i had to do to the trunk for them to fit. lol) I'm about to pull the carpet out and replace it because it's bad...I think thats about all Ive done to it so far.

^ Took that speaker box out and the factory amps or whatever was in there. Then we had to push the box in from the back seat. Ran into a snag with a bracket between the trunk and seat. We flattened that...lol and she barely fits. Real damn snug in there.

Obviously the interrior is tan and dark brown. I'm working on changing that. I'm un happy with how easy it is to get it dirty. Also, when I got the car, the carpeting was cut loose and could have been a lot cleaner. For now I got a roll of black carpeting from Walmart, believe it or not. I'm going to put that in and use some old floor mats until I have the money to get some of these expensive *** floor mats. Until I'm super rich I just need to get some good seat covers before I have the seats redone. I'm going to see about steam cleaning the seats out.

When it's all said and finished I'd like it to be black, red, and dark gray.

Any recomendations on altering the color of the interrior, (dash, steering wheel, console, etc.)?
