recommend a price
I'm attempting to sell my 2001 ford Mustang v6 base and i believe 8,000$ is a fair price i have done many mods some people have said to lower it while others say 8-10k is reasonable because it already is state inspected but craigslist yeilds no luck for me at 8k
i dont know how to attach pictures with a url so im just posting the url from my craigslist ad http://frederick.craigslist.org/cto/3909490142.html
let me know if my price is to high for the condition of the car

If you weren't so far I'd make you an offer! Nice ride if the subs and everything are going with it I say test the waters at 8k! Worst thing that can happen is no one offers you anything! Then you can lower it! Generally that's a little high for a sixer but for what you've done for it I say it's pretty close.

Like stated unfortunately your pricing is way out of reach, I think most people will agree. You will have to keep it right around KBB and NADA to get some bites. Although that color is very nice... I may be a bit biased though.
Good luck with your sale, just don't get heartbroken when it sells for less than what you imagined.

This...
$8k seems high for a 2001 v6 automatic base with mods (like said, mods can lower value depending on the person)
I mean in 2011 when car shopping, I would see 2007-2009 v6 mustangs, very clean and low miles, for $10-12k... so they could probably be had for $8k now.

I will be fair and honest with you. I would never be interested in your car but I really wish you could get $8,000 out of it just to help you out. However, you will never be able to sale it for $8,000 due to it being a 01 automatic v6, even with the mods you have, its not worth $8,000.
Example - If I had $8,000 to spend on a mustang? I am looking for a 96-98 Cobra and I have seen them at this price in great shape. If not that route I would wait until I found a really nice stock GT that's been taken care of with 75,000 miles for $8,000. This is where my money would be going.
I would probably be willing to give you $5,000 for your car IF I was in the market for a V6 mustang. V6's just don't hold value and most would rather use their money on a v8 stang.
