Meet Eleanor...
#13
Welcome. She was a wish at one point then became real. Never thought I would own this car. Truth be told I did not do the full build- -just the ENTIRE rebuild. I bought her from a wholesaler. It had all the good pieces like suspension and engine BUT was done wrong. She drove ok, but looked like a turd. So we essentially reBuilt basically everything. Damn near every screw touched.
Engine pulled and rebuilt.
Supercharger Builds boost now
Ignitions changed and added box and dial gauge
Suspension re-worked.
Electrical upgraded amperage and systems.
Corrected ride height issues.
Repainted and installed correct body kit w components.
Changed all original glass to smoked.
Sanded and repainted All interior panels.
Interior only cleaned-besides changing shifter
Left seats same---LOL
So when the opportunity presented itself to buy...I comprised a list and prices of all the parts. It totaled to more than the asking price without shipping or labor on JUST the parts -which was all the best stuff.
So the 67 fastback w original metal was basically free. So the I went for it! A bag full of money later and many build frustrations of my own and she is now the butterfly, instead of the caterpillar.
Just remember...opportunity only knocks once.

Hi All,
First I would like to say its a gorgeous thanks for sharing.
I am embarking on a project of restoring a 67 coupe to Eleanor which means I need to convert it to fastback first. but this is my first classic car and my first ever project, so I am kinda lost, I don't want to hijack the topicbut if someone can guide me would of great help.
Thanks.
