I live in the Columbus Ohio area, and also interested in finding a good shop. I already have the parts, but need someone to install. Any help would be great.......

 

There is a place Near me it's called Dayton 5.0 Performance they specilaize in working on 5.0 Mustangs there are also Jegs and Summit.

 

K.A.R. the mustang people, they special in the classics, '64.5 to '73. they do it all. im not sure they do anything for models newer than that.

Now, I just have to wait until I can afford those hydraulic lifts I've always wanted...

Have you tried asking at your local parts dealer (napa, autozone, whatever) or a paint store that specializes in Car paint? Got any tech/vocational schools in your area? Possibly someone at a tech school might be interested in working on your car(or know someone that might be interested)! You might get lucky and find someone that works at a paint store that also works on the side or knows a good mechanic!

Fortunately, I have my boyfriend who can work on my classic! (He has one too, the same year!!!)
