Who wants to go?

Good chance I'ma goin'. I'm not too thrilled with Lapeer anymore, and I'm not ready to call it quits for this season.

I'm not happy with Lapeer either. My car is covered in other car's rubber. No wonder I couldn't get any traction last time. Milan is too far for me though.

That's understandable...it's quite a hike for ya.

Are there any other tracks that are closer in your area? All those that I know of in Michigan are Lapeer and Milan, and I've heard Ulby (?) is back in service...I think.

I'm just a little disappointed that I didn't go and run a 13.4 pass like I wanted to. I'm really gunnin' for a 13.3x timeslip, but I'd settle nicely for a 13.4....plus I want to see if Lapeer's timing equipment is either pretty accurate or out of whack. I imagine Milan is more up to date on their timing systems.

Have to check with my wife and see if she has any plans for that weekend. I'd like to hit Milan at least once this year. How tight are they on tech inspection for a test and tune (I assume that is what the plan is for November 1)? Will I need to get my driveshaft loop on finally, the blow down for the nitrous, and a fire jacket?

Ubly is open, and I hear that they are running 1/4 mile now. They were only doing 1/8 for the summer while they upgraded some of the safety guards.

jim
milan will check blow down tube-but if you tech before swapping tires you may get away with no loop. I don't think you need fire jacket

Jim blow down tube is a must, jacket is not necessary or loop. I will try and make it I need to get 1 more turn at the track.
