Getting a tune tomorrow, any guesses on what I'll get rwhp? Winner gets.... a free...... nothing, I'm broke. Below is my full info:

98 gt vert auto (Auto is key):
CAI, BBK 70mm TB, Trickflow Plenum, PI Intake Manifold, Comp xe268 cams, pi ported stage 2 heads, Steeda pullies, O/R H Pipe, 40 Flows, Diablosport tuner, 3.73 gear, auburn posi unit, I think that's it.

My guess is 278-283rwhp, I'd like to be 290+rwhp

Let me know what you think I'm at.

based on my numbers w/out the cam when it was natural. IM thinking 280-285 rwhp and 320 rwtq. I suggest for fun factor to max line pressures/lock converter. ALso,if your tuning, find out your max rpm/peak power. Im shifting at 6400 rpm, and yes, still making power. IM wondering how the cam and heads will max out at.
Even if the numbers aren't where you want them, the gear is going to get you going and those would be decent numbers anyways for a auto. The rest is how you feel in your seat when you mash the gas.......

If I was a damn manual I know I'd be over 300rwhp... I don't know if I'mma stall this car or do a manual swap yet. We'll see. Once I know what I'm going to do with this car, I'll get some long tubes as well.

When we get a new house, I wonder if the wife will let me get out another 10-20k for either:

termi hard top
steeda (prob won't be 20k by the time we move)
or a gto.

Getting bored with this car hehe.

Highly doubt I'll be in the 290rwhp range since I'm an auto. Most full bolt on manual 2v's barely see 300rwhp. Don't get me wrong, I am hoping for 290 or more, just to see 300+ would be sweet, but I doubt it'll happen.

I guess only time will tell... Less than 12 hrs to go. goin to bed, I'll post my info after work tomorrow.

 

I thought with the stage 2 heads you might pull it off, then i saw that you didn't have headers.

At this point a set of long tubes would be helpful.

First off, let me just say that we don't race dyno's.... With that in mind, obviously I didn't hit my goal, hehe.

Peak numbers:
Gain HP:16whp
Gain Torque: -2whp

Yes, I gained only 16whp for a total of 260.68RWHP and 279.87FT Lbs of Torque.... Was I disapointed, of course. Cams/TB/Plenum should net better than that right?

Now, while looking through the band, at like, 3700-3800 I actually went from approx 230 torque, to approx 275torque (35+ gained there)...

I'll post the dyno sheet later, and you guys can see the before and after. I gained a decent amouth throughout the whole band, but I just didn't gain top end ya know.

If I don't hit a 13.4 or better, I'll be selling this car. For a full bolt on -headers with heads/cams, I had better see a mid/low 13, this car is just sad.

Reminder: I am an auto - if I were a manual I'd be around 280 or so. He also said having the 3.73 gear would have showed up to 10whp less. I told him I never heard that before, but the tuner said they've seen it plenty of times, so who knows, I could be around 270whp.
