I would say it is not the alternator then, you should be able to do a test yourself the same way as ya did the battery.


I figured ya checked those, I was just throwing those out there I always overlook the simple things when something goes wrong with my stuff.

yeah, I have no idea. I've replaced MAF, IAC, had the TPS checked, ran seafoam, octane booster, and injector cleaner through it, and had it checked for vacuum leaks. No idea what the hell the problem is, but it's really annoying. Car is about to have a brand new top put on it and a new paint job, and it still runs like a POS at times.

My car also would keep doing the "idle drop to near stall" thing even after I replaced the IAC on it.

What has helped reduce the issue was the idle being set a little higher. Stock was about 750rpms I think, now it's close to 1000rpms after I got a dyno tune on it.

Maybe it's time to start modding?
