Congrats Jack! I love the new Fusions....especially the Sport Edition. I'd love to have one as my DD, but for now it's the '08 Stang in the summer and the '99 in the winter, as I don't have room local for both of them, so I swap them in and out of storage.

Good looking car! I like the chrome accents and especially the dual exhaust. I have an AWD Subaru and you are gonna love it in the snow....

...I say get some chrome rims for the summer and put those stockers back on for the winter months.

Thanks everyone. Actually I think I'll save the modding for the Stang. For now anyway, I like the Fusion as is.

Margarita Girl, I'm not exactly anxious for snow but at least I'll be ready for it.

Snow.....ugh, how depressing.

Of course, I'm so biased towards Mustangs, that I'm even adamant about my '99 Stang with snow tires and sand bags, being a great winter car. ....of course I recognize my views are skewed on that one. Although, the last time I drove anything else in the snow was over 10 years ago.

Oh, cool car. As a Ford employee, I thank you.

I read an article that the Mustang fans are wanting the V8 continued for the Mustang instead of Echo boost.

I was talking to a Ford employee who is driving a Ford Edge that is an experimental hybrid. It runs electric and hydrogen - no gas.

I like the Eco Boost, but would love to have a V8 with Eco Boost.

I just got a 2003 Mustang GT convertible and I live in Detroit. it is going to be my all season car. I am skeptical about whether or not I can get some good all season tires or whether I need to get another set of rims with blizzaks. I plan to do the 200# of sand on top of some sort of new tires.

Your thoughts are welcome. I have lived in Chicago / Michigan for 5 winters plus with Ford Rangers with only rear wheel drive, so i have experienced that. My last car, a focus wasn't the best thing in the world in snow, but it didn't get me stuck but once on a non plowed road.

I made it through several winters (in Detroit and Grand Rapids) with all-season tires on my '99, but it is a V6, manual trans, and has traction control, which helps. However, with that said, when I finally put actual snow tires on my Stang, it made a huge difference. Now, I'd rather drive it with snow tires than something else with all-seasons. Good snow tires really help a lot. If your looking for the least up front cost, you should be able to manage with all-seasons, but if you really want it to handle well, swap out the tires for winter. This also gives you the option to go to a more performance oriented tire in the summer. That is what I did for several years and it's really the best of both worlds.
