Default swapped 3v engine

well after a couple of months of nightmare with my 2v engine found a ggod deal on a 2005 3v engine , initially i sent my motor to be refreshed , ported and polished my stock heads and ordered a bigger cam from comp cams (270h ) that's when my problems began , to make the story short we had to pull the effing engine down three times and the last time i decided i had enough of that **** . made a deal with my long time friend mechanic and i am one happy camper . not only i shaved a couple of hundreds pounds off ,but the car pulls much harder up to 6300 rpm .
mods : underdrive pulleys , jlt intake , bbk x/pipe , magnaflow catback , 4:10 gears and a custom tune .

Glad it worked out, its a pain when you do a lot to a motor and it never runs right afterwards.

Good ****, how was the swap? I'm loving your '96, too.

I am also interested in this engine swap as I just threw a rod in my 2004 Mustang KB s/c. This just happened over the weekend and would love any information you have about your swap???

I just got a deal on a 2005 3v with auto to go in 2002 stang but I have the 3.8 v6, I plan to change the rearend, not going to do any mods right now but this is a project so I want to do it right. If someone can maybe guide me a little, I know I got to have the engine harness and pcm but what else do I need to get me along? Don't get me wrong I like the 4v but just wanted to do this any help would be awesome thanks.

Holy thread resurrection Batman!

Engine, harness, pcm, trans harness, rear end (could be done later but you will blow the 7.5 up), motor mounts, trans mount, possibly a gt k member for the motor mounts, new a/c and power steering lines, new trans cooler lines, gt radiator, custom rad hoses, new gt springs/shocks, new front brakes (junkyard ftw), fuel line/adapter, fuel pump, exhaust, lots of PTO, beer, and help
