Default Weird electrical gremlins

OK, I have a 2000 Mustang with a super coupe swap and the car runs great other than a few issues. First off the gauges act stupid sometimes and the car starts bucking when this occurs. I am getting codes p0340 (cam position sensor) and p0721 (vehicle speed sensor), I think that these issues indicate a faulty diode in the alternator but I would like some elses input.
