LoL I tell ya , Haters gonna hate. All a Saleen is is a GT with some good looking bits added , Im not passing this off as a REAL saleen , what Im doing is no different than adding a Veilside or Cervinis or any other body kit to any other mustang. No its not a REAL Saleen , ITS BETTER! This is 1 of 1!
This is becoming my favorite build i've watched/read.
I don't know if you answered this or not, but have you done anything to the motor itself, or is everything stock on it? Any plans on adding on more power after everything runs smooth?
Also, dibs on the rest of the car, minus the rims, if you ever decide to sell it.

Definitely 1 of 1. IMHO this is way better than going out and just buying a Saleen, Roush, regular 5.0, or Boss. Guess he'll be mad at me when I buy a Roush Front.

The major difference on the motor is I built it with the full Boss 302 forged internals , Boss 302 Crank from FRPP with the oil squirter deletes that come with the piston kit , and the Boss 302 piston/rod/ring kit from FRPP. So with full forged internals it should hold up to turbo or supercharging very well. Other than the internals she is stock.
Are you gonna badge the fenders? If so I would recomend the 67/68 running pony 302 badges

Although those emblems are super sweet , I wouldn't dare put them on my car because its not a 67 or 68........

I'm not hating on the car. Offering an opinion. After all, that's why he posted this build thread in the first place.

You have to agree, the OP has done a wicked bad job and got past a lot of issues that has kept other people from doing this conversion. As a matter of fact, he made it look easy - A real car guy

What's the resale value on those already? Let's see... Not much! LOL. And people paid 60 Grands or above for these cars, ouch!
The only name that means something for Ford is Shelby because what he accomplished for the Brand.
The other guys are just racers using a Ford product and decided to go in business for themselves by selling their version of an overpriced Mustang, whoopty doo!
But hey, my neighboor has a real Cervini!! Whoo hoo! Lucky dude.
