Default Block comparison Question

Hi everyone!,

Quick question. I currently have a 00 GT with the WAP block. It's close too 200k on the odometer. I am planning to build a new motor to go in it. I will stay with 4.6. I'm trying to keep this as cheap as possible. So, I found an engine I can purchase complete for $100. It appears to be an NPI romeo out of a 96-99. All I want off of it is the block. I am going to get it cleaned up and bored 0.030. I plan to purchase a rebuild kit with pistons to fit and for a PI head application. My question is as I've been looking for rebuild kits they advertise for Vin X or W. I would have thought this would not matter as the internals are the same? Is there really a difference in the rotating assembly between the two blocks? I know the piston dish is different between the PI and NPI and crankshaft bolt pattern. Will a romeo internals for a NPI be the same as a romeo PI internals?

Thanks,
Austin.
