351w into 2002 V6
Well its time.... V6 getting old 200k miles i think she needs a new heart😊
So im going with my grandpas Windsor for his 54 pickup
Carburated
Bored 60 over
cammed
pushing mid 400s maybe even 500 ponies
(I know i could just switch to a 4.6 and spend less and this and that.... its not an option for me this is something I want to do so please dont start talking me out of it)
I need a rough parts list and a general first direction to go in this swap ive heard its quite a straight forward swap thanks everyone for your help let me know please

Mmm...check with the smog laws in your state to see if it's even legal for an on-road vehicle.
Most states don't care what drivetrain you put in the vehicle as long as it meets the smog requirements of the vehicle whose body it's being put into.
Therefore a 351W from wherever you get it will need to pass the requirements for 2002. If you were fuel injected you could probably easily do it but, carbureted...no way.

Sounds like a fun project but one fraught with obstacles that you're going to have to be creative to overcome.
Pioneers catch the arrows so you should document your project so others with the same notion will have the benefit of your experience.
As far as what you'll need, hell, I have no idea. I'd probably start by looking at what it took for a 1994 Mustang to run a Windsor block and go from there. Maybe find a 94 donor car to rob all the parts you can use.
