I need help not bs. I was givin a smashed 88 5.0 complete car. I want to put the motor and trans into my 04 v6. What will I need other then The donor car.

 

It's a fair bit of work, you'll need to swap over the entire wiring harness and control units, you'll want to swap over the rear end as well. I think the axels are a bit to short on a fox to new edge though so you might need to find some from 94+ gt (not 100% sure on that though). I've read about guys using the stock v6 k-member and swaping the motor mounts from one side to the other but I'm not sure that will work, you might need a 94/95 gt k-member as well. Getting some of the gauges to work will be a bit of a chore due to different sensors. It's been done before but it will take some time. Having a donor car will definitely be an asset.
