Default Block 2007 vs 18

Does a 2007 4.0 v6 5speed mustang have the same block as a 2018 mustang?

No the Mustang from 2005 to 2010 model years has the 4.0 V6. In 2011 Ford moved to the 3.7 V6.

In 2018 I don't think you could get a V6 in the Mustang, but it it was still available it was the 3.7. It seems like with 2018, but maybe 2019, Ford only had the 2.3 EcoBoost and 5.0 V8 in Mustangs (other than the Shelby of course).
