why cant Ford make a race engine put it in the Gt and race against the big guns with it???

Never thought about it...........they don't have any racing spec'd GT's do they? Yea, that doesn't make any sense to me either now that you mention it. From what I've seen and read, the GT, even in the stock road version, is a really tight handling performer. I don't even think it would need alot of modifications to make it into a legit racecar that could hang. I mean, damn, they got a mustang out there hanging with Porsches and whatnot with just a 400hp 5.0 engine.

Most people are not going to drive their GT, well not alot anyway. Seems a pity to have a $200k paperweight.

i like how they just bought the red/white mustang and put it on there site, that car was made by BROTHERS PERFORMANCE, not ford racing.
