If you look at the engine numbers side by side, there is not much difference. All they did was incorporate todays technology with the old style.

I like the looks of the Dodge Charger but that Camaro still looks queer.

Just seen something on the Concept Carz web site. Dodge is coming out with the 07 Charger Super Bee. If they DID NOT intend to have the Charger as a retro car, why in the f--k are they giving them retro name? Talk about a company that doesn't know their a$$ from a hole in the ground.

ORIGINAL: GT Premi

If the Challenger (with a V8) really will base around $32K, that's going to steal some major Mustang GT sales! And if what you say about the Camaro being $40K is true, it's going to once again be priced out of competition. And if it stays at that gargantuan size, it's also going to still be less practical than the Mustang. Who's going to want to maneuver that bohemoth around a parking lot, let alone trying to squeeze it through the garage door (for those of us with double garage doors. This one cuts it close for me at 74.4 inches wide:

I have the same two cars..

Wow. My car is currently faster then all of those stats, although the Shelby is at 505 hp most likely, and will be more like a 4.3 0-60mph. Erik

Just like it was in the 60's- Dodge and Chevy trying to keep up with the genius of Ford. Aint it sweet! I bet if ford marketed a turd on wheels, chevy would come out with one that featured corn.

i had a few 1st gen camaros and was real disappointed with the concept. if i wanted just hp i'd go get an old one and stuff a rat in it - and do it for half price. anyway check out the orange challenger concpet - dodge hit the bullseye with that car. in 2009 i'll have a pony and challenger in the garage, oh and a few old big blocks

I personally Dont like the look of the new Camaros...for me they dont do anything looks wise, I liked the last TransAms and Camaros they made in 2002...maybe theyll change the desing a bit when they release it. The concept Mustang looked a bit different than what they came out with.....

The only thing I can remember off hand about the concept cam (which I saw on Good Morning America) was that it had a hood scoop on it.
