Default Old news to some

I'm sure some of you have heard of this ,but I was reading an old magazine ,2000-2001 I believe, that told tale of a ford performance tech groups special project. If my memory serves me correctly they started with a 93 style chasis and crafted an all alluminum V-10 block made from a solid chunk of alluminum. the coolant jackets and oil drains fitted around the outside of the block . I don't recall much about the heads other than that they, and evry other part of the top end, whereof course finely tuned. They injected the moter useing two main computer bourds, one for each run of cylinders,in order find the fine tuned balance between all the cylinders. The article never gave a sure fire horsepower number, but it was clearly stated that better than 1000 horses where hitting the ground.
