yea personally i think by the time its 2007 models, theres going to be a couple of things that happen. 2 are possible, the other is just a dream.
1.SVT is really over and thats it.
2.Shelby will only have this model for a few years to keep its collector value up and then go to SVT.
3. shebly and SVT will join forces......yea i know keep dreamin

i think its still cheeper to buy a mach1 or gt and build it up...to buy anything with saleen or shelbys name on it your gonna pay to much for not enough..just my opinion... and as far as svt goes...i heard you need some kind of special raceing endorcment or some crap to even try to test drive a svt cobra...

Final prices are not set but the last SVT Cobra cost $35,000. Ford officials say the goal is to keep this car priced less than $40,000. “You won’t be able to touch this performance for the money,” Thai-Tang says. GT500s will be built at the Ford/Mazda joint-venture plant in Flat Rock alongside Mustang and Mustang GT. Ford won’t commit to a production number, but says it will build all the 500s drivers demand.
Under 40,000.. that is Sexy
