eh. its okay. the body is a little lengthy though. it looks like it should be a 4 dr. better then that new camaro coming out though. that camaro totally wants to be a stang. it has totally lost its aerodynamicy

I think they're(mustang, camaro, cuda) all starting to look bubblee. "Demolition Man" comes to mind when comparing body style progression...headin towards that "futuristic" look

Ford had best do something real smooth with the mustang cus that GTO and the Camaro coming soon are might just east the good ol' boy alive. id like to see something retro like what they did with the T-bird, mby lighten up the car and include and up-to-date IRS instead of a live axle, i know thier cheap and fun but yah gota get with the program. a mustang with IRS and a big ol' torque monster V8 would dominate SCCA events just like it did back in the day. That along with retro Iococca styling would make it sell like hot cakes(what ever those are).

We DO have a retro look Mustang now so I don't know what you you mean by that. As for IRS with a torque monster V8, that would be a poor choice. IRS isn't the ticket for drag / straight line performance which is what most of us use these for, especially with a "torque monster" engine you mention. A solid rear axle is a much better choice for the Mustang, not just because of drag performance but also for lower cost, ease of maintenanceand reliability. You don't see any Pro-stock, stock-eliminator, super-stock or other drag racing classes using anything but a solid rear axle. IRS is fine for road course action but how many of us use ours that way? Not me!

Nobody ever takes the time to look anything up...

No GTO. Just a Trans Am.

Whatever ends up being the GTO, it hopefully will be better then what they got now.

There was rumors at one point of pumping up the horsepower on the Pontiac Solstice and launching it as a Corvette StingRay [:'(]. Not sure how much longer GM can go with badge engineering this way. They need to find the soul of their vehicles again, not just the badge....
Rumors from who? Your daddy and his drunk buddies? I'm pretty sure there are NO plans from GM to rebadge anything and call it a Corvette. I can see it with any car they have, but never a Corvette. Wow. Just WOW!

Guys that isnt a G8 concept or w.e you guys are saying. The G8 is a "copy" of the Australian Holden Commodore...just like the 04-06 GTO was a "copy" of the Holden Morano. GM isnt doing anything new, they are just playing emblem tag with all there subsidiearies.

The new Monaro for Australia is supposed to be built in the US at the same plant as the Camaro.
Sooner or later Pontiac will ether get a modified Camaro (Retro 1967-1969 Firebird Style) or Monaro.
As stated the G8is just a US built rebadged Holden Commodore (Australia) / Chevrolet Lumina (Middle East).

Actually, the G8 is a Australian built rebadged Holden Commodore, the only thing that comes from the states is the t56 manual and some slushbox automatic.
