2010 Redesign
#14
Man, if those spy pics are accurate at all, that is one huge step backward in my book! Too much crap going on, especially those turn signals that close to the headlights! I've read the only sheet metal that won't be changed is the greeen house. I, for one, hope the pics from a year or so ago, that had a good looking hood and more of a Shelby front end were more accurate, but my heart tells me this thing in the spy pics is pretty accurate

The s197 isn't exactly new, it will have been around for 5 years so in automotive time its time for a change. As for the 2010 its just going to be a facelift not a whole redesign, that won't come to 2014 or so.

I don't know if anyone's seen this yet, or if its been posted anywhere yet.....but its an interesting bit to throw into the sea of rumors:

Looks like there might be some truth to the return of the 5.0 afterall. Fingers crossed.

Well from all the forums and articles I have read the word is that the 5.0l motor is in testing and will not be ready for the 2010my but that the bullit motor will most likley debut in the refreshed stang. This is really is going to be a refresh I would'n expect much along the lines of new performance from the Mustang. But hopefully Im wrong becuase I would hate to see the stang fall behind the competition right away.

+ that is pretty heavy camouflage on the tester. Give them a chance to dress it up and finally present it. How many times have you heard people say that the s197 is the best mustang ever? I just think that Ford has done their homework on what people like and I'm willing to bet that with time, people will start to like the styles; just as we we have all along. (although something went terribly wrong in the 70's)
