2009 Glass top GT?
#14
I tried adding one while building my own Mustang on the Ford website.
Looks like it is not a true option but is only available on Premium GT's (don't know about the V-6's).
It also wouldn't let me do it with the Calif. Special option.
I have no problem with the price, as I think it would be nice to be able to see what's above me! But I really want to build a car with the factory options I want and Ford just won't let me do it.
I wonder if the new Camaro will come with a sunroof?

i didn't realize that ford was offering them. i thought this was exclusively a CDC product. Are they any different? I have looked at the CDC one since it came out and i think that it looks best on a black car. I blends in and you don't notice the dark class like you would on a bright torch red car. Nice option though.

I have one and I love it. Like said before, it does give the cabin an open feel. Passengers have told me at night they love looking up and looking at the sky. My car is Ally, so its not obvious that the roof is glass because the color of the car and the color of the glass is almost the same, so its kinda stealth. Ive seen people looking at it and they can see something is different. When I park next to other mustangs, which everyone should do!, almost always the other stang owners look in on it. And like ive said before, it gives you the look(from inside the cabin while driving) of a convertible but the feel of a coupe. Yes it does add about 2k, but you know whats, its different, I like it, its something that sets my car apart, so to me, and maybe only me, its 2k well worth it.
