I like it. It looks like it has the same HVAC controls that my wife's Ford Flex has, which might mean dual-passenger controls with actual temperature settings (like on your home thermostat, set the temp you want, not fiddle with fans, etc).

I do GREATLY prefer the current model vents, though - I love how you can control the airflow exactly where you want. Can't do that as well with these "newer" rectangle vents.

Yes it appears that Ford has done it again, meaning taking a beautiful car and ruining it. Geez , well at least I have the 05 unless I get desperate and trade it in for some real horsepower that G.M. is offering in their Camaro.

I think it looks AWESOME! Keep in mind that there haven't been many retro designed cars that have lent themselves well to a redesign (T-Bird, New Beatle, PT Cruiser, ect.) I think Ford has done a very good job with taking the very sucessful S-197 into the future.

I don't care for it at all. In my opinion, it's a big step backwards from the interior of the S197s.

I don't like the interior. The 05's flows MUCH better. I think it's the middle vents that are killing it for me...or, like many others have said, they should've made all the vents the same shape.

I like it a lot more than the current design.
I think the S197 owners are just a little jealous.

I have a S197 and i like the new interior design. I think it's more integrated and more refined. THe cupholders have a cover and the handbrake looks less like a giant plastic bar.

I think it's so so. Some things like the armrest area are a lot better. But the vents just don't match up right. As of now I'd say it's not better, just different, oh well I guess I'll wait to see one in person to say yay or nay.

I definitely think the SN197 guys are jealous. My Mazda3 has round vents on the side and rectangular in the middle and it looks great. I think most owners just are not use to the vents. I personally think the new interior flows much better.
