I won't hold my breath for a TT V8 production Mustang. I still see a blown Coyote as the most logical replacement for the current Shelby drivetrain.

True but pretty much every rumor autoblog posted on the '10 model came true. Also, the powertrain rumors that they posted regarding the 2011 seem like they are likely down the pipeline(5.0L & 3.7L). Not saying the rumors are true, but I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss them either.

According to Brad over on TMS the coyote TT is dead and won't be in the GT500.

There is always SO much talk of what could possible be coming out, I'm down to wait and find out.

This is true, you just have to consider sources and weed out the bull.

IMO it would be a very smart and viable option for the future of the GT500.....you know they are going to use the ecoboost v6 for everything in the future that is smaller then a V8.....no reason the same logic cant hold true for the GT500....we will just have to wait and see.
