I just find it sad that the 2011 V6 will have more crank HP than my GT
Well the 2011 is 10 model years ahead of yours... but I do find it sad that it's probably only a few tenths slower than the current GT.

I talked to some Ford reps at the LA auto show and they confirmed that the GT will premier at the Detroit show in January.

Why is it "sad" that the 3.7 is almost as strong as the 4.6? You can't buy a fast car and not expect HP ratings to pass you by over time. It's good for the breed when technology improves.

I HAVE to get my turbo 347 in before that damn 2011 V6 comes out. I refuse to be walked by V6's.D:

Yeah, I can't wait any longer either. I recently spent $1k on steeda balljoints, bumpsteer and getting everything corrected. I can yank my dampers, springs, swaybars, control arms and panhard, replacing those with the stock parts (glad I kept em now!) and motor that puppy down to the dealer for a tradeup in September.

The BIG question is.... will IT HAVE FORGED RODS??? If not 400hp, 32V's and 5 liters does me no better than my 3V..
