Default Ford rated #2 in 'brand perception'

http://autos.yahoo.com/articles/auto...nd-perception/

Ford below Toyota, and ahead of Honda/Chevy

I'm pretty shocked that Ford overtook Honda. I guess Ford's getting it's act together and adding to "quality" has really helped out there in the publics eyes

I don't know how the consumer report does its survey, but I ain't buying that Honda took a back seat to Ford.
Regardless, Ford is kicking *** and that's what counts.

I might be mistaken, but this poll is retarded...

they called a bunch of people then had them tell them how reliable they thought certain cars were?

These results don't mean crap if I'm not mistaken.....they're not based on any actual reliability..nothing more than opinions..

again, i could be mistaken, but that's the way I took this...

(edit: ps, birdman, that's a bad looking bird....send me pics :-))

72mach.....Tisk Tisk...

Why is that Toyota creates "invincible" vehicles?
Why is that Honda creates cars that will "Go 300,000 without issue" ?
Why is that Kia's are crappy?
Why was Saturn axed from General Motors?

All brand perceptions. All effect sales of cars.
Fords brand perception goe's up, people see it as more reliable, more people buy them.

as MC said, the point was brand perception, as in what most people think about the brand

numbers dont play into it at all

Every survey has its shortcomings, but its nice to see Ford toward the top either way.
