Does anyone know when the performance package will be available to order on a 2011 V6 Mustang??? I see it mentioned in Motor Trend and in the 2011 Mustang catalog as "late summer".
Trying to find out the actual $$ and when it will be available to order.

I just bought a 2011 V-6 convertible. I wanted to order a convertible with the performance package, but the dealer said it is not available on a convertible or any model that has automatic transmission. So you're out of luck unless you want a coupe with a manual transmission. The dealer said I could order a coupe with a manual tranny and the performance pkg but could not tell me how long it would take to get the car.

job 2 order guide is out order banks open I believe the second week of July with the first models set to go into production some time in the second week of August. Check out the mustang source they have a lot more info

 

thanks everyone, I called and spoke to some people in Ford's marketing dept....no luck even though its printed in the sales catalog. I'll check around, appreciate the input!!

I am waiting for this package as well. I contacted Ford, and got the following response:

The order bank opened for all of Mustang Job 2 actions on June 21st, so it is now available to order. We start production on Aug. 2nd

 

Great news finally! I'll have to check with the local dealer.
