good points! Don't need the GT500 moniker to buy a cobra. The engine and appearence does it for me.

Agreed. I had no problem with Ford partnering with Shelby license to produce these GT500's for 3 or 4 years, but I think that is long enough. These SVT guys have been doing some damn good work the last couple of years....I think it's their turn to shine.

I agree that Mr. Shelby did some amaizing stuff with the Mustang. IMO the Mustang has been around so long in part of him. But I think that SVT and SVO has had some beautiful cars come out (04-05 Cobra) and I think they could do it again.

At this point would they put more power in the motor or focus more on the look/suspension. A modified 5.4 4V can make a ton of reliable power with just switching the blower and pulley. BUT as a special addition I would love to see something new/different. 7.0L 4V aluminum block or 5.4L 4V individual throttle body like the racing motor they have.

I hope Carroll is still around for the 50th anniversary and hope there is a special edition Shelby available! Because I will definitely be on the list!

I just want a GT500 (likely a 2014 the way my down payment saving is looking like). If they stick with the current body style then Ill be the happiest guy in the world. Unless they do something TRULY mind blowing, I personally think that the current GT500 is the PERFECT car. Period. Just my opinion, but thats what I think.

But if they do have a hair up their rear ends about bringing out a New mustang for the 2014 1/2 MY, then please... PLEASE dont do ANYTHING like the Giugiaro Mustang concept. From my understanding, it was purely a concept and certain design cues influenced the 2010-current Mustang.

But please, PLEASE dont go that far off the current path! I fell in love with the 2010 the moment I saw it. I hope that the next Mustang (and GT500 or SVT Cobra as I HOPE its called) is a graceful evolution of the current Mustang.
