I like the back tail light design... not too fond of the rest of the car.

I agree!! I am really happy I bought my 08 GT500 when I did (was thinking of waiting for the 2014 model)...I had every confidence Ford would screw up the design further...

Meh, I'm not in love with it. But I am glad they are moving away from retro. The 05 Mustang did what it was supposed to do. But do people expect for Ford to hang out that same style for 10+ years?

Still don't think i like it. When i first saw it I, didn't even notice the resemblance to the new Camaro. Ever since the 2009 Mustang Giugiaro concept, it seems like thats what everyone is trying to duplicate, on the 2010, and now the 2014.

2005

2009 Italian Concept

2010

2014?

More on the Giugiaro concept

I dunno about those engine options... They have a pretty much class leading 3.7, and they are trading that for a turbo model that makes the same (if not less) hp?

I don't know a terribly huge amount about engines but I see the 3.7 as a much better feat of engineering/bang for buck/ performance option, considering its making that same 300 Naturally. Wrong?

Ford is trying to get rid of their individual platforms in favor of selling the same car around the world. To compete in Europe, the turbo-4 makes a great option as it is preferred over an NA-6.

Also, the drawing concept doesn't look to bad to me. I didnt realize how much it looks like the other concept though. And I HATE the tail lights. I like the style from the '69s most personally.

It's mostly that a Turbo 4 can often be lighter than an N/A 6, so it also will help reduce the weight that Ford is so aggressively trying to get at. Should be interesting to see what really rolls off the line in 2013 when they come out!

And as said above, those euro peeps tend to love their turbos.

The rear quarter panels are to high they need to pipe those down a bit, I also think the front end looks like the 94-98 model that I really don't care for.

Oh, I guess I can see why they're pushing the turbo 4 then... but still, I may just be biased but I always thought it was traditional of american muscle cars to have the meaty v8 then the smaller brother that is the v6?

Meh, not complaining but I dunno if this is too much change too fast.

It has alot of Camaro to the back and back sides of it (quarter panel area).

Amazingly the combination together looks a bit like one of those Mercedes 2 doors (forgot the model).

It does not say Mustang to me though. I do NOT like it.
