Brake duct for Laguna Seca

brake duct for 2012 LS rubs, mostly drivers side, so bad wore through after less than 2k miles. ford tech reports no problem (???) Orig. tires and wheels

Is there a way to pull the duct away from the pad? That sounds like a really big desine flaw if they all are doing that.
