Back in April, Ford announced that it was phasing out all small cars except the Ford Mustang and the Ford Focus Active in North America. Except now it looks like the Mustang may be on its own, as The Blue Oval brand will not bring the Focus Active stateside due to new tariffs imposed by the Trump administration.

i mean the mt82's are from there so maybe a full blown car from there would have been fine but when i think about a ford car, i think its built over here (at least in north america).

 

Nope, this is all Ford's fault. They made a decision to kill production of cars for the US to produce more boring SUV's.

 

Right but Ford was gonna make a Focus cross track or something along with the Mustang though.

 

...but did you really want a Chinese made Focus anyway?

 

What's the big deal anyway? China floods the US with knock-offs and lead lined
products anyway. Don't blame it on the Tariffs, that brings jobs and production
back to the U.S.

 

I thought they were going to produce a Focus Hybrid for the U.S.????
