the best way to start moving from a stop when you dont know how to drive is to push the clutch in, put it in 1st or reverse, and start letting the clutch out reeeeeeeeally slow. at a certain point, you will hear a slight tone change and the car will start to inch forward. now give it the slightest bit of gas and continue letting the clutch all the way out. i dont know if it can be explained any simpler than that. cars with a lighter flywheel will be harder to take off, as you need a little more revs while taking off.

the ONLY way ur gonna learn to drive a manual is to actually do it urself.. trust me i could tell u how all day long and ur not gonna be able to do it until you try it a few times and when u can pull out perfectly without slippin the clutch really at all is when ur a master such as myself

it took me 15 minutes to get the hang of it and a few days for it to become habit. Dont sweat it but i DO recommend somehow driving a stick, just reading about it wont do anything. Its like **** and the real thing

could you possibly have your mom/dad to test drive it for you. And then once you get it home, you can practice more.
