Thats some great playing. I've been playing for about 20 years and I don't think Im half that good. What guitar was that? I've got a a few hollow bodies and a SG I got when I first graduated High School. Best guitar I've ever owned. I play a lot of classical and rockabilly. SG's not great for most of what I play but when I'm just hangin out the SG get pulled off the wall and it's sweet sex.

he's got good skills, sound, and dk2m.

I will likely get one of those^ next year, likely in white or a trans color....both (all) of my jacksons are swirl colors...
-dk2t in crimson swirl
-ke2 in silver swirl

Very cool! The dk2m is a good bang for the buck guitar. He used to play mainly ibanez but now he plays mostly jackson. He has an old usa custom ibanez that is wicked. The jackson's he has are the dk2m, the rr24 1 of 75, the slsmg soloist THANKS TO ME!! and a strat. Oh and an Ibby s. I have a bc rich widow and a peavey millinium bass
awesome...should post some pics.

The factory can **** up things, only to make good (ltd rr24->inlays)[8D]

I think this should work?

nice equipment! not my style, but i wish i had that kind of money. i dont really like Ibanez guitars, but i almost bought one of their basses a few weeks ago. the jazz pickups on it sounded really nice.

Yeah, a lot of the import ibanez guitars suck or just have bad pickups (rest is good)...and you tend to pay a lot to achieve THIS. The prestige models is where things start to get good. Once you spend a decent amount of $$, you get what you pay for.

Jacksons nowadays are getting pretty cheap for what you get. The only thing that I would want to see from them are a warrior model for the pro series, and a KV model for the pro and mg series. The bridges on the string-thru models are good, but definitely not perfect...so that could use an upgrade.

Honestly, the only reason I can think of why jacksons are not in the lead in sales are:
1-not enough marketing
2-the lack of GOOD jacksons in most stores (pro/mg/usa)
3-the artists moved from jackson to dean, esp and ibanez.

I invested in a ESP jeune fille X... that is sitting at my cottage up norththough

not sure about playability, but it sounds good to me and makes people ask questions... I love it

my advice to the OP would be to look into one of these... it seems like your style

Alot of ibanez guitars are going to crap. We bought the xiphos and the v blade from ibanez thinking it was going to be a wicked guitar. They both had fret buzz and the overall quality was bad. We sold them. My giger bass I had, was not even that great! I sold it too. The two guitars he plays most are his slsmg and hit rr24 Looking at getting a caparison or a carvin. We really love the kv2's also!
