automatic hard top convertable
it looks kind of funky with the top up, but good work none the less.

IMHO, that thing looks nasty. The movement is all jerky and it looks terrible when it's up. Not to mention it ruins the decklid's beautiful lines. From the 2nd video it looks like it takes up a little of the trunk's precious real-estate as well.
I can't speak for the quality of materials since I haven't seen it in person, but the whole thing looks shoddy and tacked on.
It's a GREAT idea though. Just needs improvement.

I completly disagree... I could not imagine the engineering that went into the design and installation of that thing to get it to work as well as he/they did. You certainly would not be doing it stop lights but as a one-of-a-kind build I can appreciate it. IT does make it look different and probably takes up the entire trunk(most hard top verts do or you leave the top at home) but none the less is amazing. At the end of the 2nd video it has the guys name and says it was in europe so no wonder we have never heard about it.
It kinda reminds me of the Mcclarens of the 80's with the different windshields. I am not a huge fan of either but they are all cool.

Old news.
CDC have bought the rights to this design which was started by Muscat. Not sure if it's a go-er or a stillborn project though. That originalblackMuscat Mustang with this roof system sits in the CDC showroom collecting dust.

I'm sure it took a lot of engineering effort to make that a reality.
I'm not trying to detract from it at all. I'm just saying it looks ugly to me, and has a "tacked on" appearance.
