Saleen s281sc vid

ya doobs its blown...just the stock roots blower, but I will be running more boost soon
look out. i just cant decide if i should get a new accufab plenum and throttle body or if i should have steigmeir port the stock plenum and TB when he does my blower ...hmmmmm. The accufab setup sure would look alot cooler when im showing the car at car shows and events lol. But I'm wondering if things would run smoother and more efficient if i just have steigmeir do all 3 pieces .

If the Eaton Roots is that loud, then you should already be pushing 10-12 lbs of boost.

Well, I think the eaton is supposed to push 9 pounds stock if I'm not mistaken but I have never seen the boost gauge indicate more then 7 maybe. Then again , who knows how accurate those saleen gauges really are. I know theres no way I'm runnin anywhere near 12 pounds now , but I'm hopin to be right around 13-14 once I'm done moddin it . You realy think the blower sounded that loud ? I guess I'm just used to it by now. The day we filmed that (yesterday) it was almost 100 degrees outside in the wash dc metropolitan area so of course my intercooler was burnin up, as a result my car was running really slow as you can see in the video
Its amazing how a 10 degree temp difference outside affects the power my blower makes. My car always runs alot faster at night when the intercooler is down around 130 degrees. When the footage was taken , it was around 160-165 ...I wonder how that affects the sound of the blower when its whining
