edit: the below image is a stock car with a modest tune, then they added a cai+better tune+ boss intake manifold, thats what the whp/tq gains show in this first image.
about 43whp, but no gain in power under the curve. so just about 1500rpm's worth of gain.
torque at 7200rpm jumped up 60wtq, which is about where most people shift with the boss intake manifold, some push it to 7500rpm.
the horsepower gains do begin at 4200rpm, which is about as low as i go when im racing.
so in that one you can see he started with a cai+tune then added the boss intake, they lost power down low and then made more starting at 5200rpm with 53whp gained at 7200rpm. peak power went up 20whp.
I should throw my car on the dyno.. curious how much I make... i assumed i was around 415whp.. but i might be higher because i have an o/r x ontop of the mods that guy had.
