Sounds more like a turbo to me. I dunno though... maybe an F1 phantom?

doubt it's a turbo. sounds like a vortech or another type of centrifugal. it sounds kind of like my car, except mine is quieter (v2 sq).

Turbos have two different types of blowoffs as do Centrifugals. They have an internal which reroutes the blown off air on the intake side of the MAF and back into the intake and really cant be heard very well but is still noticable. Then there is the atmospheric blow off that can really be heard.

or in vortechs case, a "bypass valve". you can hear mine when i get on the gass and release. god i love that sound. not as much as i love the whine of a roots or twinscrew, but i still <3 the vortech.

Well, Ive had the chance to experience a Eaton pullied Cobra, a Kenne Bell Cobra, and now I would like to sell the KB and go for a little Turbo action. Once I get to and back from Iraq I may very well do it.
